The sixth season of PGL Wallachia is progressing steadily. After the group stage, the number of participating teams has come down to half. Initially, there were sixteen teams, but only eight teams have been able to advance to the playoffs. Team OG made everyone sit up and take notice with their spirited comeback, defeating Heroic in the fourth round to secure a playoff spot. Teams MOUZ and PARIVISION also found a place in the fourth round playoffs. Despite its recent reshuffling of players, Tundra Esports also managed to secure a playoff spot in the fifth and final round. BetBoom Team earned their playoff spot by defeating GamerLegion, ending North America’s participation in the contest. The last playoff spot was claimed by Team Heroic, who won their final match, eliminating Xtreme Gaming.
The playoff stage began on the 20th of November, 2025, and concluded on November 23, 2025. It followed a double-elimination format where all matches were ‘best of three’, with the only exception being the Grand Final which was a ‘best of five’. The playoffs saw the participation of eight of the top teams from the Group Stage, including Team Liquid, Team Spirit, PARIVISION, OG, MOUZ, BetBoom Team, Tundra Esports, and Heroic.
