Introduction

In Overwatch 2 Season 20, Vendetta, the game’s first melee DPS hero, has a new skin and other player accessories. The skin is the High Society Vendetta and players can also get a player card and icon to match the theme. These elements allow fans to personalize their game experiences and tie gameplay more closely to the sophisticated backstory and character attributes of Vendetta.

Obtaining the High Society Vendetta Items

There are different ways to obtain the High Society Vendetta items in the game. The Legendary Skin can be unlocked by purchasing the Overwatch 2 Season 20 Ultimate Battle Pass Bundle. The cost is roughly $39.99 and it includes the following items:

• Premium Battle Pass
• 20 tier skips
• 2000 Overwatch Coins
• High Society Vendetta skin
• Reindeer Tracer

The Bundle can be accessed from the in-game shop menu. Besides, there are free cosmetics which are made available via Twitch Drops.

From December 9th through 22nd, players can watch Overwatch 2 streams on Twitch and earn different rewards depending on their watch time:

• 1 hour for a High Society Vendetta player icon
• 3 hours for a High Society Vendetta name card
• 6 hours for a Season 20 loot box
• 10 hours for a Season 20 epic loot box

High Society Vendetta: Theme and Backstory

The High Society Vendetta skin was designed to reflect Vendetta’s aristocratic upbringing which stands apart from her vengeful backstory. It’s a blend of high-society grace with the character’s melee attacks based on mobility, lunges, and strikes. Jude Stacey, senior narrative designer, mentioned that the skin emphasizes the “righteous fury” Vendetta feels from losing her societal status, along with her polished origins.

Season 20 in Overwatch 2

Vendetta debuts as the new melee damage hero in regal style in Season 20, which also features a host of other events and items. Winter Wonderland runs from December 9th to January 7th, and features skins such as Frozen Demon Junkrat and Frozen Mountaineer Cassidy. In addition, an Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover event returns from December 16th to 29th, with character skins including Mei as Katara and Zenyatta as Aang.

Additional skins for Season 20 include Borealis Lifeweaver and Reindeer Tracer (Ultimate), along with shop items like Vendetta Exo-PANT6RA. The Premium Battle Pass offers five Legendary skins, three Epic skins, emotes, and more, with Mythic Prisms for customers who would like to customize Cassidy or Orisa skins.
