Details of Razer’s Partnership with VALORANT Esports EMEA
VALORANT Esports EMEA and Razer will be teaming up for a multi-year partnership. Razer, known for its gaming peripherals, has earned the designation of official gaming chair partner for 2026 and 2027. This alliance embraces both VCT EMEA and Game Changers EMEA competition structures.
This commitment comes from Razer, who entered the gaming furniture arena in 2020, with the introduction of the Razer Iskur. The manufacturer will now be providing the Razer Iskur V2 Gaming Chair as part of the partnership. The use of these chairs will not just be limited to on-stage appearances but will also extend to coaching booths and co-streaming rooms during the matches in both leagues.
The Past Gaming Chair Partnerships
The selection of Razer as an official chair partner follows a successional trend of partnerships by different companies. For the 2023 and 2024 seasons, Cougar, another gaming equipment company, held this position for both VCT EMEA and Game Changers EMEA. The baton was then passed onto Herman Miller, who shook hands with Riot Games for a brief yet positive tenure in July 2025.
More Partnership News for EMEA Leagues
Alongside the announcement of Razer’s upcoming partnership, KitKat was introduced as an official partner for VCT EMEA and Game Changers EMEA for the upcoming 2026 season. As part of the arrangement, KitKat will be involved in various promotional activities like fun advertisements, in-game break segments, distribution of exclusive event kits, thundersticks, fansigns, and involvement in on-site activities.
Upcoming VCT EMEA Events
The first domestic event for VCT EMEA in 2026 is coming up, set to kick off on January 20th and wrap up on February 15th. This event will be hosted at the Riot Games Arena and will see 12 teams competing with one another. These teams will face off in a triple elimination bracket format with an end goal of securing three qualification spots for the Masters Santiago event.
