Rocket League Patch 2.64 Update Details

Psyonix released Rocket League Patch 2.64 on January 22nd, bringing interesting features to the game besides decorative elements. Among these features, the South Park collaboration stands out, however, the core content of the update addresses issues raised by the player community.

South Park Limited-Time Event

From January 22nd to February 5th, a special event called “South Park Invades the Arena” entertains players. This event allows participants to acquire five unique certified toppers, each representing a main character from the South Park show and tracking different player statistics.

Character-themed Toppers

Challenges within the event enable players to earn free character-themed toppers – interesting items that track game statistics. The toppers and the stats they track are listed as follows:

• The Cartman Topper tracks turtle goals.
• The Stan Topper counts the number of goals scored.
• Kyle’s Topper measures the number of assists.
• The Kenny Topper tracks how many times a player has been demolished.
• A Butters Topper that counts losses is also included in these rewards.

Additional Rewards

Alongside the above rewards, an animated Cheesy Poofs Octane Decal is also available for players to unlock through event challenges. These challenges are designed not only to entertain but also to provide valuable items to the players.

Premium Bundle

For those interested in paid content, the Stampede + South Park Bundle is on offer in the Item Shop. This premium bundle includes the Stampede car body and five character-themed decals, each representing a key character from South Park.

Event Schedule and Format

This limited-time South Park event starts on January 22nd at 4:00 PM PT (equivalent to January 23rd, 00:00 GMT), and runs through February 5th until 4:00 PM PT. While this event shares its period with a simultaneous Fortnite collaboration, it’s noteworthy that Rocket League isn’t introducing new game modes, but rather focusing on offering cosmetic items to the players.
