Overwatch is recognized as a team-oriented multiplayer first-person game that was created and distributed by Blizzard Entertainment. • Ability Usage Mechanics: This includes mastery of the timing and usage of your character’s abilities and includes advanced techniques such as Animation Cancelling, Genji Ghost Dashes, Mercy Super Jumps, Defense Matrix Management (by D.Va), and Blink Management (by Tracer).
• Movement Mechanics: Different movement styles serve different purposes. ‘Strafing’ involves moving while shooting at the adversaries. ‘Dodging’ is erratic movement to avoid attacks, with less emphasis on shooting. ‘Positioning’ involves strategic placement of characters to decrease vulnerability while maximizing advantage.
